Koh Chang is the third-largest island situated approximately 330 kilometers East of Bangkok in the province of Trat, Thailand. It is named as Elephant Island since it resembles the profile of an elephant. Ko Chang is nestled on the Thai east coast near the border to Cambodia in the Gulf of Thailand.
