- St. Beatus-Höhlen
The St. Beatus-Höhlen caves are situated about six kilometers from Interlaken, at the northern slope which borders the Thunersee. One can reach these stalactites caves on a car, but you can also take the boat or bus from Interlaken or Thun.
- Harder Kulm
It is the highest restaurant in Interlaken. Harder Kulm not only provides some sumptuous delicacies but also offers exciting views of the city and Jungfrau. From the railway station of Interlaken one can take the funicular to the Harder Kulm.
- Modelleisenbahn-Treff (Miniature European Railways)
Interlaken is an exciting place to witness a great collection of miniature railways. One can see miniature versions of famous trains like the Glacier Express, Bernina Express and Cristal Panoramic Express here. Furthermore Italian, German and Dutch trains can also be seen. Railway movies are exposed here too. In 2004, the Modelleisenbahn-Treff has moved to their new address at the Rugenparkstrasse 24, a couple of minutes on foot from the railway station of Interlaken West.
- Niederhorn
The Niederhorn is situated on a narrow ridge, the Güggisgrat, over 1,300 m above Lake Thun. It is a beautiful location that offers a magnificent view of the Bernese Alps, including the famous trio of Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau.
- Top o'Met
Restaurant Top o'Met on the 16th floor of hotel Metropole offers a magnificent view of the town and the Jungfrau. You can eat indoors or on the terrace, while watching the activities of the para-gliders. They may pass by at virtually no distance from the terrace on their way to the landing place across the street.
