Skelleftea

Skelleftea Sweden is a young town with just about 155 years of history at its back. The meaning is believed to be "the sunny properties" or the "the sunny area". For thousands of years, the people of this area were farmers, hunters and fishermen. Today, the city Skelleftea Sweden is famous as a university town. It boats of its own theatre, gallery, museum, golf course and tennis hall. As far as sports are concerned, ice-hockey plays an important role in lives of the residents. Thus the city has allotted considerable resources to the regional development of the sport.
