Sri Lanka Nightlife

Nightlife of Sri Lanka is the hot spot in South Asia with an active nightlife. Colombo’s part of the Galle Road is considered to be like Las Vegas because of the existent many casinos. Gambling is illegal in some South Asian countries and Casinos are hard to find, but Sri Lanka boasts of quite a few. These casinos, are full of life and activity the whole night through, are not allowed to be called casinos but are called clubs.

Nightlife of Sri Lanka is thrived with plenty of bars and nightclubs. Even though most of the nightlife takes place at five star hotels in Colombo, there are also many other places throughout the rest of Sri Lanka which cater to those who enjoy a lively night and early morning. Sri Lanka is known for beach parties and Hikkaduwa and Arugam Bay are famous for their well organized and colorful parties.

Throughout Asia, Sri Lanka is regarded to be the country with the largest consumption of alcohol. Whilst Sri Lanka's neighboring countries are mostly dry, alcohol flows quite freely in this country. Tourists can enjoy at beach bars and the like in popular tourist spots such as Bentota. Colombo has a thriving variety of bars, restaurants, and nightclubs. If you are eating out you will be taken aback by delicious cuisine served by cafes to kottu shops to five star banquet halls. Don't worry about closing times, Sri Lankans usually like to party till dawn!
