Manilva

Manilva has a coastline which runs in a northeast/southwest line. The coastline is just about 8 kilometers in length and complete with beaches. These beaches range from a number of rocky coves to some of the widest sandy expanses. The Manilva weather is conducive to a visit by tourists. The area’s landscape is composed of small hills which have been separated by small rivulets and valleys. One attractive feature of the town is the large “karst” limestone ridge which lies just behind the town. The town of Manilva will welcome all to a number of attractive developments and urbanizations. The sporting marina of Puerto de la Duquesa has turned the city into a bustling and happening coastal town. From Manilva one can travel east to view the Estepona municipality which is a traditional town and has a fishing port. One can also visit the Casares municipality to the north with Moorish cliff hugging town and spectacular scenery. Enjoy the sights which are dominated by the Sierra Bermeja Mountains.

It still is a traditional Spanish bastion which is open and hospitable to the many tourists who set foot on its shores. There is an abundance of grapes grown in the region which are useful for the making of the locally produced sweet wines which are best drunk when new.
