Each traveler traveling to Korea needs to be responsible to the fact that all travel documentation is in their possession. Reservations for air and cruise travel are reflected as it appears on the Korea visa application. Tourist visa for South Korea application form should be fully completed and signed. Entry requirements for Americans: United States citizens do not require a visa for a tourist stay of up to 30 days. A passport or certificate of identity with permission from the Korean Ministry of Justice is required for entry. Validity: A tourist or business visa for South Korea is usually issued for multiple entries for a period of 5 years from date of issue provided the passport remains valid for a period of stay in Korea not exceeding 90 days. It is the Embassy’s wish that for business travel the application must state the address and phone number in Korea of the host company. The Korea visa is issued for a single entry and is valid for three months from the issue date for a stay not exceeding 90 days. |
