As a tourist one should prepare oneself to know some well known facts about food in South Korea. South Korea food is famous for its Kimchi staple dish which in combination with rice accompanies almost every meal. Very soon, even foreign tourists start to miss the flavor of Kimchi once they have too many meals without it. On a visit to a Korea garden restaurant you can try out a few dishes and you will realize that many Korean dishes though they look unfamiliar initially, they are in fact not too different from some of the Western foods.
