Singapore has an efficient transportation system. In fact transportation in Singapore is convenient and modern. The city has a good mix of public and private transportation. Getting around in Singapore on the water by ferry or bumboat is quite exciting. Modes of transport in Singapore

Buses in Singapore : Before trains came to Singapore, the buses were the preferred way of traveling. Earlier the buses were slow and the heat made it all the more undesirable but after up-gradation, traveling by buses in Singapore has become smooth and comfortable.

Singapore River Taxi : Another way of getting around in Singapore is ‘on’ the water taxis of or the bumboat as they are called. They take passengers on a thirty minute ride along the waterway in Singapore. 

Singapore Trolley : Singapore has a Tram system which is another exciting mode of transport that caters to the shopaholic and the tourists alike. The introduction of the Singapore Trolley Tram makes it easier for tourists to travel around the tourist spots of Singapore.
