There is also a new bus station fro regional services located within walking distance of the terminal. People wanting to travel by taxi can avail one from the taxi rank at the terminal building. It is preferable to order a taxi from the airport reception and ask for a fixed price.

Airport facilities: A tourist gets most facilities at the airport in the form of duty free shopping, banks for currency exchange, restaurants and cafes, information kiosks as well as laundry/dry cleaning and other key cutting services.

Departure Tax: No departure tax is charged

Travel: For internal traveling one can make use of reduced fares on the rail services. One can purchase ‘Scanrail’ cards to avail of five or ten days travel within two months or 21 consecutive days’ unlimited travel in Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden on railways and selected ferries. Another good option one can use is the ‘InterRail’ tickets which are valid in Norway and now also made available for those aged over 26 years.

Prohibited items: Prohibition has been laid on specific items such as spirits over 60 per cent volume (120 per cent proof), narcotics, firearms and explosives.
