Lillehammer

Situated in the heart of Norway's famed alpine country, Norway Lillehammer is a stunning town at the tip of Lake Mjøso. However, visitors may visit the Kunstmuseum, a private art museum with a permanent collection of 19th century Norwegian art donated by some of the country's most prominent collectors.

Major events of the city include: February's Lillehammer Vinterspillne (Winter Festival), March's International Blues Festival, August's literary-themed Peer Gynt Festival held in nearby Vinstra, October's Dølajazz Lillehammer Jazz Festival, or December's Ski Festival, which catches the attention of the world's best skiers.
