The city of Floro is located beside the western coast just a few hours from the north of Bergen by boat. The Floro weather stands out as it provides the visitors with a fabulous opportunity to enjoy some good fishing. The town is not a tourist’s paradise so to say as it does not have many major attractions but is surrounded by some absolutely beautiful islands. Many tourists prefer a visit to the island of Kinn where according to legend, the Irish saint Sunniva was stranded. He even had an ancient church built. It is quite an inspirational feeling to be standing in the windy and bare Floro weather listening o choir concerts in the church with blank space between you and the opposite end.
One of the sights worth a visit in the town is the coastal museum. One can even go for extended walks in the neighborhood to just be at peace with oneself. The spot just outside the town provides access to excellent opportunities for hiking, boating and fishing. The accommodation in the form of charming hotels is quite a perfect reminder to the visitors of the country’s hospitality. The younger crows will get an opportunity to mingle with the young and restless locals in the pubs dotting the landscape of the city.
