Fauske

Positioned on the northern shore of Skjerstadfjorden, Fauske is a municipality and town located in the county of Nordland, Norway. It is declared as a town in the year 1998. Fauske city Norway is bordered with Sweden in the east. The municipality got its name from the old farm Fauske (Norse Fauskar). The town has numerous marble quarries and the marbles extracted from these mines are of high qualities which are exported to all over the world.
