Pokhara

Pokhara, a city in Central Nepal, is one of the most popular tourist destinations. Situated on the Northwestern corner, it lies on an important trading route between India and Tibet. Pokhara city has become the major tourists’ hub of Nepal. It offers a combination of nature and culture with distinct tourist district. It is mostly known as starting and ending points for Annapurna treks. It is a modern city with few tourists’ attractions in the town.

Nepal Pokhara houses many temples, which are worth visiting. Some of such exciting places include Bhimsen temple, Barahi temple and Bindhyabasini temple. It is an exciting to visit Barahi temple as it is accessible only through boats because of its location in the Phewa Lake. Tourism in Pokhara has got attracted by many of the spectacular views in the city. The best viewpoint of Pokhara is Sarangkot and Thulakot. From these points the wonderful views of Annapurna range. A Buddhist stupa at the top of Sarangkot has also contributed in attracting tourists.
