While in Mexico one can plan a tour of Ciudad Victoria Mexico to enjoy the fabulous changes undergoing in the place which is the capital city of the Tamaulipas state. Located in the middle of the state it was founded on October 6, 1750. It was then called Villa de Santa María de Aguayo and founded by José de Escandón y Helguera. It was finally on the 20th of April, 1825 the town earned the status of a city and given its name in honor of the first president of Mexico, Guadalupe Victoria. Important monuments and structures came up in the city around the turn of the 20th century. Prominent among them were a bronze bust of Benito Juarez, the Juarez Theater and the monument in honor of the Independence of Mexico heroes. It was in the year that the first children’s garden/kindergarten of Latin America was established here by Estefania Castaneda Nunez de Caceres. Another important activity that Ciudad Victoria Mexico is renowned for especially with the lovely Ciudad Victoria climate in context is bass fishing at Vicente Guerrero Dam as well as many other big and small game hunting opportunities.
