You can take a taxi but the fares are heavily costly there are two type of taxis in Malta roads first is black taxis which are called in advance while white ones are available in roads. You can rent a car and be on your own and can explore the island by your own self.

While there are varied way of commuting in Maltese island there is a service of ferry between Cirkewwa on Malta and Mgarr on Gozo it takes absolutely 45 minutes dash between source to destination. There is also the facility of sea plane with regular flights between Valetta and Mgarr.The official currency of Malta is euro.
