Music and Dance
The most popular style of dance and music in Maldives is called Bodu Beru. In this form of music, lead vocalist sings the lyrics and a choir of 10 to 15 repeats the song along with the beat of the drums. Thaara and Dhandijehun are yet another form of dance art that is performed national events.

Environment Friendliness
The citizens of Maldives strive to keep their country clean and tidy and therefore make sure you do not leave the beaches and places of interest all littered. In the year 1997 many actions were followed up under the theme- “Independent Maldives, Clean Maldives”.

Traditional Handicrafts
Among the many unique things Maldives are the pretty red mats of the region that are specifically made by the womenfolk of Gadhdhoo in Gaafu Dhaalu Atoll. A dhoni is a small boat with a length of 10ft. (3 m) which is basically used to travel across short distances. The standard fishing dhoni is around10 metres (33 ft) long.
