administrative division of Maldives, is situated on the west of the Maldives atoll chain. It is comprised of two geographical atolls, the small Goighoo Atoll known as Horsburgh Atoll and Maalhosmadulhu Atoll. It consists of 75 islands, out of which 57 are uninhabited, 13 are inhabited and 5 have been developed as resorts. It is considered a good example of the rich biodiversity in Maldives, consisting of vast variety of flora and fauna.</p> <p>In Baa atoll Maldives’ uninhabited island of Olhugiri. There is unique vegetation and it provides two of the only perching site for the Great Frigatebird in Maldives. Similarly one can encounter the other marine creatures such as Sea turtles and Hawksbill turtles. One can come across untouched vegetation and untrodden beaches. Pristine reefs and unspoilt beauty are preserved in this region of the earth. </p> <p>There are many resorts in Ball Atoll that offer transport from airport by seaplane and seaboat. One of such resort is Baa Atoll Coco Palm, located on DuniKolu Island. It has pure white sandy beaches and a breathtaking lagoon of unrivaled beauty. It is considered to be the most beautiful of all islands in the region.
