Malaysia Climate

 

Malaysia is sometimes referred as the tropical paradise situated north of the equator. Malaysia climate enjoys a tropical climate which is hot and humid all through the year. The major change in seasons is noticeable by the arrival of the monsoons that bring with heavy showers on the east coast of Peninsula Malaysia, the northeastern part of Sabah and the western end of Sarawak. The annual rainfall exceeds 2000 mm. whereas the Malaysia climate in the east coast of Peninsular Malaysia and the coastal areas of Sabah and Sarawak is very much affected by the monsoon season from November until March.
