Druskininkai

Druskininkai Lithuania - the old salt of Lithuania is the best known health resort in the country. It’s an old Polish spa which is famous for its healing salty waters, among tourists. The city is located 132 km from Vilnius in southern Lithuania, on the Nemunas River, and bordering with Belarus. Druskininkai Lithuania is undergoing changes and one cannot but help noticing these changes. The changes are not just for visitors in the spa resort which is getting spruced up and reinvigorated in the spa resort but the whole city is getting revived. One can see all new hotels mushrooming up all over the place, while many of the old places have been renovated and are looking new and shiny. The city’s changes and new look has not hampered with the city’s main attraction of the place: the combination of mineral springs, bog mud, and fresh pine forest air. Though one thing that has been easily lost is the imposing dominance of truly bizarre Soviet era architecture, with the largest and most horrid alien-esque concrete creation being turned into a glitzy new aquatic amusement centre.
