- Distant heat- July, 2009- it is an annual concert or dance festival held at two venues. Here there is an electronic dance party whole night long in Wadi Rum.

- Amman Dead Sea Ultra Marathon- April, 2009- it is a grueling test of endurance. The travelers can begin at high elevation and then move towards to the lowest point on earth.
- Roman theatre- daily- it is the most impressive legacy of the Roman Philadelphia. It is thought to have some religious significance and is used today for theatrical and musical productions.
- Jerash festival of Culture and arts- July-Aug, 2009- it has been the major international festival. It covers a large area- The North and South Theatres, the Arena Walls, steps of Artemis Temple and other venues for its performances.
