Galway

Galway, called Gailimh in Irish, is the third largest city of Ireland and is a chief center for visits to West Ireland. Having been honored with a tag like "The City of the Tribes" the city very rightly stands up to it. High on multicultural events and shows, Galway is truly a delight. Among the most beautiful counties of Ireland, Galway is as captivating as it gets. On one side it boasts of a countryside that is out and out traditional and on the other hand the urbane region of the city is very posh and vibrant. Visited by many tourists and visitors each year, Galway city is a great holiday destination. Galway City located at the mouth of Galway Bay has a very breathtaking futuristic culture and a charming mixture of locally owned shops, often featuring locally made handicrafts.
