Borobudur Temple
Located in the district of Magelang, Central Java, this temple is considered to be one of the world’s wonders and prides itself for being the largest statue of Buddha relief in the world. UNESCO has listed the Borobudur temple in the World Heritage Site list.
Candirejo
The village of Candirejo is situated around 3 km from Borobudur Temple. A traditional Javanese village, Candirejo is being promoted for tourism and is visited by many tourists and visitors each year. Representing conventional Javanese culture and daily life through traditional houses, cultural shows, art and craft, ceremonies, farming and local food, the village of Candirejo is a must visit for all.
Raja Ampat
Comprising of more than 610 islands, Raja Ampat is located in the western region of Papua, Irian Jaya. Extremely well renowned for diving, here you will find and more than 540 sorts of reefs, 1000 type of reef's fish, and 750 types of mollusk. Factually, this island makes for around 75% of world's total reef. Some of the unique genus of sea life includes webbegong, manta ray, pigmy seahorse, and endemic fish. One of the best spot on this Island is the Chicken Reef.
Prambanan
Prambanan, also called Loro Jonggrang, is a Hindu temple that was built in the 9th century. Declared as the UNESCO World Heritage Site, the temple was built in the 10th century and boasts of having the largest temple compound in Indonesia dedicated to Lord Shiva. Mounting on top of the central region of the last of these concentric squares are three temples decorated with sculptural relief demonstrating the epic of the Ramayana.
Kraton Ngayogyakarta Hadiningrat
Built in the year 1756, Kraton of Jogjakarta has served as a residential palace to many generations of royalties ruling Jogjakarta and its surroundings. Extensive walls were erected around this palace in the year 1785, making the palace to look like a fort. Today is palace serves as a small village that is residence to eminent Indonesian artists, painters and batik makers.
Bukit Lawang
This a great place where you can meet only one of its kind primates- Orangutan. Bukit Lawang is among the largest stronghold community of Orang Utan. Bukit Lawang is located at the eastern region of Gunung Leuser National Park. This jungle is home to around 5000 orangutans and therefore Bukit Lawang is visited heavily by the tourists from all across the world.
