Saputara, a hill station in the Indian state of Gujarat, has a cool climate where temperature does not exceed 28°C even in summers. It had been developed as a planned hill resort with all necessary amenities such as boat club, parks, hotels, museums and roadways. The word ‘Saputara’ means the adobe of serpents, which itself is a fact that is highlighted by the presence of an image of a snake on the shores of the Sarpagana River.
