About India India Cities India Hotels India Travel Guide

Ratangarh, a district in the Indian state of Rajasthan, is famous for Havelis and its handicraft work. The cross made in the construction of market depicts that the city was planned before the construction. It is a midway between Jaipur and Bikaner on National highway-11. As there are many temples in Ratangarh, it is called “Kashi” of Rajasthan.

Ratangarh, India is a major rail-road head in Northern Rajasthan, connecting Bikaner and Jodhpur via railways. It shows the good interconnected means of transportation that helps tourists to travel and explore the city. Even the Ratangarh hotels have made good provision for their accommodation. These hotels have wide network ranging from star luxury hotels to cheap budget hotels that cater the needs of travelers according to their taste and budget.

Just as local lore is redolent of heroic deeds, Rajasthani painting displays decorative forms vividly composed in colorful schemes. The Garden of Shekha or Shekhawati, extending across the district of Jhunjhunu, Churu and Sikar served as a fortune swings from Rajputs to British. Ratangarh India has also been the major center for studies in Sanskrit. There are many Sanskrit schools and colleges that added to the aura of the city.
