Chamba, a town in the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh, is situated on the banks of river Ravi. It has been the capital of Pahari rulers. It was named after the daughter, Champavati of its founder king, Sahil Verman. The ancient culture and heritage is preserved amidst the high ranges of mountain. It is known for its elegance of its temples and handicrafts. The area experience temperate climate with well defined seasons.
