Bokaro Steel City

Bokaro, home to largest steel plant in India, is situated on Chhota Nagpur Plateau. It has one of the few completely planned townships, which is divided into rectangular sectors, which in turn is made up of sub-sectors, known as Bokaro steel city. The streets are lined with trees with proper lightening arrangements. Parks, gardens and several public utilities are provided for the benefits of residents. Bokaro steel city is located in surroundings on the southern bank of River Damodar.
