The largest city in the south of Germany Munich is within lonely half an hour drive from the Alps. You will find the mountains to be just an inexplicit shadow most of the time. Alte Münze (Münzhof) - Old Mint

A fantastic castle with all typical traits of an ancient building. It came into existence in 1563-67. From 1803 to 1983 it was used as an official mint, last by the German Bundesbank. The special attraction today in this castle is the trapezoid, interior courtyard from Renaissance times with its three-storey-high arcade corridors.

Asamkirche

Founded in 1733 this church is only 8.8 metres wide and 28.8 meters long. It is quite a big place to visit and to explore the history of Munich

Bavaria-Studio

It is the studio from where German film industry evolved quite handsomely. 'The Boat' after the book by Lothar-Günther Buchheim, and 'The Never-ending Story' are some of the famous films ever produced.

Bayerisches National Museum

This museum contains almost 18,000 exhibits and it has won the Europe’s Museum Prize in 1988.

Frauenkirche ( Church of Our Lady )

It is also famous as the church of the lady in Munich Germany. Consecrated in 1494, the green belfries of its soberly decorated towers are in the form of the so-called 'Welsh Hood'. These towers were soon the hallmarks of the city.

Friedensengel (Angel of Peace)

It is a perfect fishing point for the visitors.
