Garmany’s largest city Berlin is not too old to be considered as a historical city. It is rather young and with not more than 800 yeas old history. However, it is unique in many senses. This city is blessed with several tourist spots that have been attracting people from all over the globe.

Berlin Tourist Attractions
Alexanderplatz

Also known as “Oxen Square” it is an important traffic junction and business center. It is one of the most visited places in Berlin. Today only the office buildings of Peter Behren (Alexander - and Berolina-Haus) remain from that period.

Alte Bibliothek (Old Library)

A flamboyant baroque style building built in 1780, is today a part of Humboldt University. Earlier it was famous as “the Commode.” Alte Palais stands very next to this building.

Berlin Wall

There would hardly be anyone who has not heard the name of Berlin Wall. A wall that separated east from west has several interesting structures like a memorial to the wall. Down on the Eberswalder Strasse exist “Wall Park” Memorial that crosses along the Reichstag—it recalls the victims of the wall.

Jüdisches Museum

This museum is a fine example of spectacular Daniel libes kind building, which became a symbol of Berlin. Jüdisches Museum is an exposition illustrates ordinary objects, documents and works of art the history of the Jews in Germany from the beginning in Roman times until now.
