The same holds true for an England visa for travelers from Canada, Australia and South Africa. However, the South African travelers are no longer allowed to travel to the UK on a temporary passport. Even the nationals of New Zealand do not require visas for England. The length of stay up to six months will be decided by the UK immigration officials depending on reason for travel. The Irish nationals do not require passport or visas for England to enter the country. But, Irish nationals traveling from a country other than Ireland, the Channel Islands, the Isle of Man, then a passport is mandatory. All other travelers from other countries need to have a valid passport and arrange for an England visa from the concerned embassy in their country.
