Warwick England famous for Warwick Castle is a town and district, and county seat of Warwickshire, is located in central England, on the banks of the Avon River. Warwick, city was settled by Samuel Gorton in1642, and as a city in the year 1931. The city’s important textile industry dates from 1794 and other important manufacturing industries include machinery, metals, pipes and tubing, and silverware. Warwick England comprises of the villages of Apponaug, on Greenwich Bay; Hillsgrove, site of the state airport; Warwick; and several resorts. The Warwick village was almost destroyed in King Philip's War during the year 1676. Gaspee Point, S of Pawtuxet, was the scene of the burning of the British revenue cutter Gaspee in 1772. Here the annual “Gaspee Days” commemorates the event.

Warwick England is home to an impressive landmark Warwick Castle, whose construction started around 1068, which attracts huge numbers of tourists from around the world. The city’s centre is also recognized for its historic architecture, and contains a mixture of Tudor and 17th-century buildings. The city houses a wealth of specialist independent shops, restaurants, pubs and accommodation. Another of city’s landmark and distinct feature is the Warwick University England, which is one of the leading universities in the UK. The city is rather named after the 'county' of Warwickshire, rather than the city itself. The University of Warwick is located in the heart of England, next to Coventry, 5 km southwest of the centre of the city, and not in Warwick as is the name. Warwick University England is a campus university, which was established in 1965 as part of a government plan to expand access to higher education. This university has grown to become one of the highest-ranked universities in the UK, without fail in the top 10 since its foundation. Moreover, it’s a member of both the Russell Group and the 1994 Group, the only university to be a member of both organizations.
