Nottingham England is the regional capital of the East Midlands. The Nottingham University is a leading research and teaching university in the city of Nottingham, in the East Midlands of England. British newspapers have been regularly ranking Nottingham among the top ten higher education institutions in the UK. The statistics for the year 2005 showed more then 32,000 registered students, and with more than 10 applicants per place, which includes over 4,000 international students from across the 100 countries. In 2006 it won the Times Higher Education UK University of the Year Award.
