A popular choice among the holidaymakers and business class visiting the London city- London Heathrow airport is the busiest international airport in the world, which has been voted 'Best Airport in Europe' in 2004. This airport sees more than 90 airlines flying in to over 170 international destinations in the year 2005 and over 67.7 million passengers used the airport terminals. It is also the world's second busiest airport for cargo and almost 70,000 are employed here. The London Heathrow airport is located at the southern end of the London region of Hillingdon, which is 24 km west of Charing Cross in Central London.
