Crawley though used to be small town in the year of 1940s was designated a new town at 1947 and its population boomed in the 1950s and 1960s.The biggest effect on the town is Gatwick airport which is profoundly the 6th busiest airport in the world.
To get in to Crawley you can enter into the town through direct flight to Gatwick airport which is the world’s busiest and is situated just moments away from the new town Crawley. The fascinating aspect of Crawley is that it is such small enough that all ends of the town could be reached through bicycle Though Gatwick airport is meant for cycling only the town area can be meant for cycling.
To see other than the beautiful enchanting surroundings there is a model train that runs in summer from 3pm every Sunday in Goffs Park. The residents are quite friendly and they are ready to help visitors to reach for their destinations. For activity there are plenty of things to do like checking out the classical music at the annual functions in the park at Tilgate Park. The Buchan county park is also very scenic. The park has two nice old trees that look very pretty in autumn while at springtime the floor is blue with blue bells. The most attractive town is termed as shopping town with the main magnetic attraction is county mall. While there are plans to open a new shopping center in Queens square.
