Being an ancient town Cobham’s history can be traced back through roman times till Iron Age. Cobham is also mentioned in Domesday Book. And its resources are counted and recorded. The mill which was built on 1822 was once magnanimous in architecture. The mill was operational till 1928 until it became too costly to operate. The river mole can be crossed through an Ashford bridge. The bridge is only durable and judicious to cross during the time when the river is low.
