Basingstoke is a beautiful and peaceful town in northeast England. It is situated across a valley near the source of river Loddon. Basingstoke has very well to do population as there is negligible unemployment. There are thriving industries in Basingstoke and some of them are drug manufacturers, comunications, IT, electronics and insurance. Therefore, we can say that it is an economic centre.
In the history Basingstoke has quite a few monuments that still capture the heart of the onlooker Basing house is one of them. Once a royal palace and castle, Basing house was destroyed in a civil war siege. Now the ruins of this magnificent monuments catapult the heart of many onlookers. The attractive ruins and gracious walk along the sparkling Loddon River to the house with your friends or family members hints to be a memorable experience. There is also a leisure park and a grand historical museum in the Basingstoke called Milestones Museum which shows off the monuments streets and lifestyle from the Victorian era. There are mystic ruins from the Silchester Roman town which is about 4 and half miles north of Basingstoke. All that is left in Silchester are the ruins of bygone days still the scenery is very picturesque. You can enjoy the very magnetic sunset and sunrise as you can see till horizons land and nothing else.
