The Great Wall of China

Popular among both the domestic and foreign visitors, the Great Wall of China is a must see tourist attraction in China. There is a well-known Chinese saying written on the Great Wall, "He Who Has Not Climbed the Great Wall Is Not a Real Man". The place is a scenic spot with a lot of tourists. Badaling Great Wall lies in Yanqing County in Beijing and stands on the ridge of infinite steep mountains.

   
Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses

The Qin Terra Cotta Warriors & Horses are found at about 31 km away from Xi'an. Now named as ‘Museum of Emperor Qin Shihuang's Terra Cotta Warriors & Horses’, this is a popular tourist attraction in China. In March 1974, farmers from Xianyang village accidentally discovered many broken pottery figures while digging a well 1.5 kilo-meters away to the east of Emperor Qin Shihuang's Mausoleum. After archaeological excavation and textual research, it was found that this was an oblong pit in which were buried terra cotta warriors and horses of the Qin Dynasty.

   
Temple of Heaven

The Temple of Heaven is favorite Beijing tourist stop and important china tourist attraction. The main buildings were built in the Ming Dynasty in 1420 for worshipping the heaven and earth. The emperor was regarded as the ‘Son of the Heaven’ who administered matters on earth on behalf of the heavenly authority. Natural disasters or instability in society were regarded as a sign that the emperor had lost the favor of heaven, so sacrifices to heaven were very important to the rulers.

   
The Bund

The Bund is another exciting place to see in China. It got its name from a desolate beach outside the old Shanghai City. Many believe if you have never been to the Bund, then you have never been to Shanghai. The Bund symbolizes Shanghai and Bund is an epitome of Shanghai's history. Tracing back, from the Opium War broke out in 1840 to the 1930's, many foreign businesses snatched the prime area in Shanghai, to establish concessions, banks, and headquarters.

   
Dian Chi Lake

Kunming is famous for its multitudinous scenic spots and places of interests from ancient times. The West Mountain & the Dian Chi Lake are the outstanding places among them. The West Mountain is 15 km away from Kunming, standing straight in the lakeside of the Dian Chi Lake and on the foot of the mountain is just the Dian Chi Lake.

   
Li River

The Li River is located in Guangxi Province and is what makes the region beautiful and worth visiting. The scenery of Guilin is regarded as the best in the world, and Yangshuo's scenery is the best in Guilin. The scenery on both sides of the Li River is beyond description. Originated from the Cat Mountain in the Xing'an County, Li River runs through the whole eastern area of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.
