Xian, China is a historical city that is considered at par with Athens, Cairo, and Rome as one of the four major ancient civilization capitals. It is a city that is often referred as the living history book of the China. Xian has a glorious past; the city was the capital of the as many as 13 dynasties.

Xian, China is also the capital of Shaanxi province, which is located in the southern part of the Guanzhong Plains. Xian has a favorable geographical location with the Qinling Mountains to the south and the Weihe River to the north. The city is surrounded by water and hills making it a beautiful and inviting city.

Xian has semi-moist monsoon climate with four seasons clearly marked. Apart from the cold winters, any other season is relatively suitable for traveling. From the 11th century BC, an astonishing eleven dynasties ruled from here and the emperor Qin Siouan, united the whole of China, made Xian his seat of power. During this period all roads led to Xian, which became the last stop on the famed trade route of the Silk Road. As a center of international trade many forms of commerce passed through the city giving it a truly multi-cultural society.

Xian is a historical city that provides a number of exciting vacation options. The city was called Chang'an in ancient times, and is one of the birthplaces of the ancient civilization in the Yellow River Basin area of the country. During Xian's 3,100 year development, 13 dynasties placed their capitals here. Xian city has been given the laudatory title of 'Natural History Museum' because of its cultural and historical significance, as well as the rich relics and sites. Of the Xian attractions in the city, there is the 3,000 year old Banpo Village Remains from the Neolithic Age, and the Forest of Stone Steles that holds 3,000 stone steles of different periods from the Han Dynasty to the Qing Dynasty which are a major interest to the tourists. The city’s natural landscape around Xian is also marvelous with the Mt. Huashan one of the five best-known mountains in China, is famous for its breath-taking cliffs and its unique characteristics.
