Sucre

Being in the list of UNESCO World Heritage site, the city of Sucre Bolivia is a great place to hit during one’s holidays. Sucre is a beautiful city with grand colossal buildings and other tourist attraction. From theatres to art galleries; from museums to historic sites… there is a lot to see in Sucre. Home to one of the important universities of Bolivia, the city has a vibrant student culture that makes Sucre look young and fine looking. 
Historically the city of Sucre in Bolivia was the constitutional center of Bolivia. Later Sucre lost the administrative and legislative powers of government to La Paz, but it still remains the judicial center of the Bolivian Supreme Court.     

If you are on a visit to Sucre make sure you do pick something traditional from its markets. Sucre is well-known for tapestries, which can be easily found at the markets and shops of the city. This is the most traditional handicraft of Sucre that can be easily purchased. Being a Traveler you can surely support and help this tradition grow and flourish  by purchasing the tapestries from Tarabucco market that are much cheaper from the shops in the town. Yet another product that you can buy from Sucre are the pretty knitted sweaters, scarves and other items all of which are made of pure alpaca wool.
Sucre is also famous for its local chocolates, and those sold by Para Ti are the finest. Para Ti chocolates are available at numerous shops near the central plaza and also at the airport.
