Australia Climate varies widely in different regions. The northern part has a tropical climate. The south-east and south-west corners have a temperate climate. In the winter between June and August, average temperature is about 56°F (13°C). Australia's hottest temperatures may reach 50°C, while minimum's can reach sub-zero temperatures. |
